Can I check my Gift Card balance?
To check your Gift Card balance, you must first set up an account on the Number One Shoes website, or simply log on to the Number One Shoes website if you already have an account. Once logged in, click on 'My Details' at the top of the page, and click on the Gift Cards tab. Enter your 16 digit card number into the box beneath 'Register Gift Card' and click the 'Find Gift Card' button next to this box to display your balance. Your 16 digit card number is on the back of your Gift Card. Your Gift Card balance will be displayed beneath 'Available Balance'.
Can I use a Gift Card and another method of payment to pay for my order?
Yes, if you wish to use your Gift Card to purchase item(s) at a price exceeding the value remaining on your Gift Card, you will need to pay the excess using either a credit card or a secondary Gift Card. The available payment methods are the same as for purchasing a Gift Card. If the price is less that the value remaining on your Gift Card, the balance will remain on your Gift Card for use on another occasion.
Can I return item(s) purchased using my Gift Card?
Our usual returns policy will apply to purchases using your Gift Card. Please note that where you have used both a Gift Card and another payment method in a single transaction, any refund will be applied to the Gift Card first. For example, if you purchase item(s) for $200, using a $75 Gift Card and charging the balance to a credit card, and subsequently return the item(s) for $100, $75 will be credited back to your Gift Card and $25 to your credit card. If the item(s) is faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Can I redeem my Gift Card for cash?
Your Gift Card can only be used for item(s) sold by Number One Shoes. It is not returnable or redeemable for cash, and cannot be used towards the purchase of another Gift Card.
Can I top up the balance on my Gift Card?
At this time it is not possible to top up the balance on an existing Gift Card, you can simply purchase another Gift Card at the value you require (choose a value from $20 to $250) from your nearest store. Click here to find your nearest store.
Does my Gift Card have an expiry date?
Your Gift Card expires 5 years from the date of purchase or from its last transaction. Any unused balance remaining on your Gift Card at expiry will not be refunded or credited by us.
What happens if my Gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged?
Unfortunately your Gift Card cannot be replaced, and we are not responsible for any card that is lost, stolen or damaged. Similarly, we will not be responsible for unauthorised use of your card. If you are returning or have returned item(s) originally purchased, wholly or partly, by Gift Card, and the original Gift Card is lost or stolen, please contact us on email@example.com or 0800 661 7463. Our contact hours are Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.
Can I buy a Gift Card online?
Unfortunately we do not offer Gift Cards to be purchased online. However you are able to purchase gift cards at any of our stores around New Zealand. Click here to find your nearest store.
Can I spend a Gift Card online?
Yes you can. To use your Gift Card, enter your Gift Card number on the Summary page after you proceed through the Checkout. Enter your 16 digit card number found on the back of your Gift Card when selecting your payment type. Click the 'Verify' button, and follow the instructions to complete your purchase.
